Here is an annual calendar with the most important highlights:

• 1 January: Free open-air event and fireworks
• 2 January: Harderpotschete
• June: Greenfield
• June: Country and Trucker Festival
• 1 August: National Holiday
• September: Various cheese tastings (Chästeilet) on the surrounding alpine pastures
• 30 December (or earlier if that falls on a weekend): Ubersitz in Meiringen
• 31 December: Nothing! Instead on 1 January.
